Layout Categories
Categories define price tiers within a layout. Each seat is assigned to a category, and prices are set per category when you create price schemes.
How Categories Work
Layout has Categories: [Premium, Standard, Restricted View]
Price Scheme: "Adult Ticket"

Common Categories
- Premium - Best seats, highest prices
- Standard - Good seats, regular prices
- Restricted View - Partial sightlines, discounted
- Accessible - Wheelchair spaces and companions
Category Design Tips
- Use clear, self-explanatory names
- Include colour coding for seat maps
- Keep categories consistent across layouts
- Consider accessibility categories separately
Price Inheritance
When you create a price scheme, you set a price for each category. If you add a new category later, update existing price schemes to include it.
