Layout Areas

Areas are physical sections within a venue layout-think "Stalls", "Circle", "Balcony", or "GA Floor". Each area contains seats or has a general admission capacity.

Area Types

• Seated areas - Contain individual, bookable seats
• General admission - Standing/unreserved with a capacity limit
• Mixed - Some reserved seats, some GA space

Area Properties

• Name - What customers see (should match venue signage)
• Capacity - Maximum people allowed
• Sort order - Display order in seat selection
• Accessibility - Wheelchair accessible areas

Building Areas

1. Create the area with a name and type
2. Add seats to it (or set GA capacity)
3. Assign seats to price categories
4. Set display coordinates for seat maps
